
Senior Manager, Asset Protection

- Develop and implement asset protection strategies and procedures to minimize losses and ensure the safety of customers and associates
- Lead a team of asset protection associates and provide guidance, training, and support to ensure effective execution of asset protection programs
- Conduct thorough investigations into cases of theft, fraud, and operational errors and take appropriate actions, including involving law enforcement when necessary
- Monitor and analyze data to identify and address potential security risks and vulnerabilities in store operations
- Collaborate with store management and other departments to identify and implement measures to prevent loss and improve security
- Conduct regular audits of store procedures and processes to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to asset protection
- Stay up-to-date with current industry trends and best practices in asset protection and make recommendations for improvement as needed
- Maintain strong relationships with law enforcement agencies and represent the company in any legal proceedings related to asset protection
- Act as a role model for ethical and responsible behavior, promoting a culture of honesty and integrity within the team and the organization as a whole.
Extensive Experience In Asset Protection: A Senior Manager At Walmart Must Have A Minimum Of 5-7 Years Of Experience In Asset Protection, Preferably In A Retail Setting. They Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing Asset Protection Programs And Mitigating Loss.
Strong Leadership And Communication Skills: As A Senior Manager, This Role Requires Leading A Team Of Asset Protection Associates And Working Closely With Other Store Managers. The Ideal Candidate Should Have Excellent Communication, Interpersonal, And Problem-Solving Skills To Effectively Lead And Manage Their Team.
Knowledge Of Loss Prevention Techniques: The Senior Manager Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Loss Prevention Techniques, Including Cctv Systems, Physical Security, Inventory Control, And Fraud Detection. They Should Also Be Familiar With Emerging Risks And Trends In The Retail Industry.
Analytical And Strategic Thinking: A Successful Senior Manager Should Be Able To Analyze Data And Make Informed Decisions To Mitigate Loss And Improve Overall Asset Protection. They Should Also Be Able To Develop And Implement Strategic Plans To Prevent And Reduce Loss In The Store.
Understanding Of Legal And Regulatory Compliance: A Senior Manager Must Have A Comprehensive Understanding Of Legal And Regulatory Compliance Related To Asset Protection. They Should Be Familiar With Laws And Regulations Related To Theft, Fraud, Workplace Safety, And Privacy To Ensure The Store's Compliance.
