Job Description

Walmart is looking for an experienced and customer-focused Software Engineer - ServiceNow to join our talented team. The successful candidate will use their software engineering skills to develop and maintain ServiceNow applications, create IT process automation, and provide technical support and guidance. We're looking for a highly-motivated individual with a passion for coding and strong problem-solving abilities.The ideal Software Engineer - ServiceNow candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field and at least 3 years of software engineering experience. The candidate should also possess excellent communication and technical writing skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to interpret and analyze data. Experience with ServiceNow, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain ServiceNow applications in accordance with user requirements
  2. Create IT process automation scripts and solutions
  3. Provide technical support and guidance to users
  4. Develop new software features based on user feedback
  5. Analyze and interpret data to solve complex software issues
  6. Develop and maintain coding standards and documentation
  7. Conduct unit and system testing to ensure software accuracy
  8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product delivery
  9. Troubleshoot and debug software applications
  10. Stay up-to-date on the latest software development technologies and trends
