
Acquisitions Coordinator
Serve as coordinator for all acquired content. Ensure delivery and proper formatting and managing deal terms. Act as the liaison for The CW with distributors and producers and ensuring BS&P notes are communicated and implemented. Lead the editing process by reviewing all material and giving creative notes on cuts for format, runtime and pacing. Scour the international marketplace for potential content acquisitions; work to expand our reach of contacts and keep us up-to-date on the latest developments. Solicit, set up and attend pitch meetings on both finished content and possible co-productions. Evaluate and review all submissions (cuts and scripts), write coverage and make recommendations. Manage the agreed-upon deal terms for acquired content by monitoring the broadcast windows, runs, holdback terms, option deadlines, marketing restrictions, etc.
Must have a love for TV Programming.
Previous experience in content acquisitions desired
Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure corporate environment.
