Job Description

Washington State University is seeking a skilled, motivated Data Programmer Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will have a passion for database programming, a commitment to excellence and a desire to become a key contributor to our dynamic data-driven environment.The Data Programmer Analyst is responsible for creating and maintaining data files and databases, developing data analysis and reporting tools, and creating applications for data access and manipulation. This role requires a unique combination of technical and analytical skills, and the ideal candidate will have the ability to interpret and present data in meaningful ways.We are looking for someone with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field. Additionally, the candidate must have a minimum of two years of experience in programming, database design, business intelligence, and data analysis. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently are also essential. Experience with SQL and Microsoft Office Suite is a plus. Above all, we want someone who shares our commitment to delivering quality results and is excited to be part of a team.
