Job Description

Washington State University is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Preservation & Museum Specialist to join our team. This position will be responsible for ensuring careful preservation and curation of museum artifacts and collections, as well as coordinating activities related to exhibits, collections, and research. The successful candidate must have a graduate degree in museum studies, anthropology, archaeology, or a related field, as well as experience in museum collections management, conservation, or related areas. We are looking for someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of people. The ideal candidate will also have a deep appreciation for the preservation and curation of museum artifacts and collections, and an understanding of the value of these items to the university and the community.
