Job Description

Washington State University is seeking an experienced and creative Research Optical Engineer to join our vibrant research team. As a Research Optical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, creating, and troubleshooting optical systems. You will also use your knowledge of optical engineering to develop strategies to improve existing systems.The ideal candidate for this position should possess a Master's degree in Optical Engineering or a related field, along with five years of experience in optical engineering. You should have a strong understanding of optical design, fabrication, and testing techniques, as well as the ability to think critically and creatively to solve problems. Additionally, you must have excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.If you are driven to make a difference in the field of optical engineering and are excited by the prospect of pioneering new research, we want to hear from you!
