- Operate a commercial motor vehicle in a safe and efficient manner, following all traffic laws and company policies.
- Safely and efficiently navigate designated routes to collect and transport waste materials.
- Conduct pre and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle is in proper working condition.
- Complete all required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and other team members.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and standards to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Maintain a clean and organized truck, ensuring that all equipment is properly stored and secured.
- Troubleshoot and report any mechanical issues or vehicle malfunctions.
- Continuously monitor and maintain proper levels of fuel, oil, and other vehicle fluids.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills when interacting with clients and the general public.
- Comply with all applicable state and federal regulations, including those related to hours of service and vehicle weight limits.
- Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner at all times.
- Attend and participate in mandatory training and meetings as required.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed.
