Monitor and record incoming and outgoing waste materials using scales and computer systems.
Communicate with customers in a professional and friendly manner, ensuring excellent customer service.
Enforce proper waste disposal procedures and regulations to maintain a clean and sustainable environment.
Maintain accurate and organized records of waste materials and transactions.
Operate and maintain equipment, such as scales and computers, in a safe and efficient manner.
Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure smooth operations and timely completion of tasks.
Identify and report any safety hazards or issues to management.
Keep the scalehouse and surrounding area clean and organized at all times.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols.
Attend training and development sessions to stay updated on waste management regulations and procedures.
Assist with maintenance and repair of equipment as needed.
Complete paperwork and data entry accurately and in a timely manner.
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to waste disposal.
Communicate effectively with team members and management, providing updates and reporting any issues or concerns.
Continuously look for ways to improve processes and increase efficiency in waste management operations.

Physical Fitness: The Job Of A Scalehouse Attendant Involves Working Outdoors In Various Weather Conditions. Therefore, Physical Fitness Is Necessary To Perform Tasks Such As Lifting Heavy Objects, Walking On Uneven Terrain, And Standing For Long Periods.
