
Poultry Science Trainee
Supervises contract pullet, breeder or broiler growers in accordance with the company grower contract. Checks progress on each flock and makes timely corrections as good poultry husbandry suggest. Monitor health issues and administers medications and vaccines prescribed by the Corporate Veterinarian. As outlined in the Company policies, rules and procedures, responsible for proper operation of a Company-assigned vehicle. Supervises and coordinates the maintenance, clean-up and sanitation of the hatchery building and equipment, hatching process, chick delivery, egg handling and sets, record keeping, and hatchery personnel.
Bachelor’s degree in Poultry Science
