Cyber Security Specialist

The Cyber Security Specialist will be responsible for monitoring and responding to cyber threats, conducting security assessments, and developing security policies and procedures. The successful candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.The ideal candidate will have:• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field• 5+ years of relevant experience in IT security• A broad understanding of security technologies, including firewalls, antivirus and malware protection, intrusion detection systems, and data loss prevention• The ability to analyze security logs and take action when needed• The ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences• Experience with administering and configuring security tools• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to cybersecurity• Working knowledge of cloud computing and virtualization technologies• Certification in one or more security-related disciplines (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA, etc.) is preferred
