Job Description

As such, we are looking for a motivated and professional Lead Compliance Officer to help us ensure we are operating within all applicable laws and regulations. This individual will be a key member of the team, playing a vital role in the integrity of our company.Our ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the banking industry and a strong background in compliance and/or risk management. They will be highly organized, with excellent communication skills, and the ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities. The Lead Compliance Officer will be a leader in driving compliance initiatives and creating a culture of compliance throughout the organization.If you are an experienced, knowledgeable, and passionate individual looking to join a successful team, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement compliance and risk management policies and procedures to ensure Wells Fargo is operating in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
  2. Monitor compliance with internal and external regulations, including developing and monitoring key performance indicators.
  3. Lead compliance initiatives, such as training and awareness programs.
  4. Perform investigative and compliance reviews.
  5. Oversee the development of compliance metrics and reporting.
  6. Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  7. Lead the creation of a culture of compliance within the organization.
  8. Serve as a subject matter expert on compliance and risk management.
  9. Provide guidance and support to other departments with regards to compliance and risk management issues.
  10. Stay abreast of industry regulations and trends.
