Job Qualifications

  • Advanced Degree In Social Sciences Or Related Field: The Ideal Candidate For The Principal Research Associate Position At Westat Should Possess An Advanced Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Sociology, Economics, Or Psychology. This Will Demonstrate A Strong Foundation In Research Methodologies And Data Analysis, Which Are Essential For This Role.

  • Extensive Experience In Employment Research: A Minimum Of 7-10 Years Of Experience In Conducting Employment-Related Research Is Required For This Role. The Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Labor Market Trends, Employment Policies, And Workforce Development Programs.

  • Proficiency In Statistical Analysis Software: The Principal Research Associate Will Be Responsible For Analyzing Large Datasets And Presenting Findings In A Clear And Concise Manner. Proficiency In Statistical Analysis Software Such As Spss, Stata, Or Sas Is A Must.

  • Strong Project Management Skills: The Principal Research Associate Will Be Responsible For Managing Multiple Research Projects Simultaneously. The Candidate Should Have Excellent Project Management Skills, Including Planning, Budgeting, And Timeline Management.

  • Excellent Communication And Writing Skills: The Ability To Effectively Communicate Research Findings To Both Technical And Non-Technical Audiences Is Crucial For This Role. The Candidate Should Have Strong Writing Skills And Be Able To Produce High-Quality Reports And Presentations.
