Collaborates with Design Engineering on assembly DFA/FMEA/CTF and specification requirements for new product development. Develop and deploy assembly process with Automated and Manual Tooling to assemble HDA’s from new product launch through volume production that meet CTF, KPI, and ROI requirements. Requires tooling design and development skills: Design (SolidWorks), manufacture, evaluate and qualify. Hand on experience with mechanical / electrical processes and machines. Machine shop experience preferred. Perform engineering calculations: tolerance study, GD&T, FEA. Develops PMP, Process Control, and OCAP. Establish setup and calibration procedures for new assembly tooling and testers. Tooling project lead and schedule owner.
