  1. Greeting and welcoming patients and visitors to the medical office in a friendly and professional manner.
  2. Answering phone calls and directing them to the appropriate department or staff member.
  3. Scheduling and confirming appointments for patients.
  4. Maintaining and organizing patient records and information.
  5. Coordinating and managing patient check-in and check-out processes.
  6. Collecting and processing patient payments and insurance information.
  7. Communicating with patients regarding appointment reminders, follow-up appointments, and other important information.
  8. Assisting patients with filling out necessary forms and paperwork.
  9. Collaborating with other members of the medical team to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the office.
  10. Maintaining a clean and organized reception area.
  11. Responding to patient inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  12. Adhering to HIPAA guidelines and maintaining patient confidentiality.
  13. Updating and maintaining office databases and systems.
  14. Assisting with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and data entry.
  15. Participating in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance job skills and knowledge.
  16. Ensuring compliance with all office policies and procedures.
  17. Building and maintaining positive relationships with patients and colleagues.
