  1. Operate commercial vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
  2. Load and unload products onto the truck, ensuring accuracy and proper handling of materials.
  3. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  4. Plan and execute delivery routes in a timely and efficient manner.
  5. Maintain accurate logs and records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery times.
  6. Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to provide updates and address any issues.
  7. Demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
  8. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the well-being of yourself, fellow employees, and the general public.
  9. Adhere to WestRock's core values and represent the company in a professional and positive manner.
  10. Maintain a clean and organized truck, reporting any maintenance or repair needs to management.
  11. Continuously evaluate and improve driving skills through training and education.
  12. Collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive and productive work environment.
  13. Keep up to date with industry regulations and standards related to commercial driving.
  14. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Job Qualifications

  • Valid Commercial Driver's License (Cdl): This Is A Must-Have Qualification For Any Commercial Driver Position At Westrock. A Cdl Is Required To Operate Large Commercial Vehicles, Such As Tractor-Trailers, Tankers, And Flatbed Trucks.

  • Clean Driving Record: Westrock Values Safety And Responsibility On The Road, So A Clean Driving Record Is Essential For Any Commercial Driver Position. This Includes No Major Traffic Violations, Accidents, Or Suspensions In The Past 3-5 Years.

  • Experience In Commercial Driving: Westrock Prefers Candidates With Experience In Commercial Driving. This Can Include Previous Employment As A Delivery Driver, Truck Driver, Or Other Related Positions.

  • Physical Fitness: Commercial Driving Can Be Physically Demanding, So Candidates Should Be In Good Physical Condition. This Includes The Ability To Lift And Move Heavy Objects, As Well As Sit For Extended Periods Of Time.

  • Knowledge Of Dot Regulations: As A Commercial Driver, You Will Be Responsible For Transporting Goods Across State Lines And Must Comply With Department Of Transportation (Dot) Regulations. Knowledge Of These Regulations, Including Hours Of Service And Vehicle Inspections, Is Essential For The Job.
