Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior IT PeopleSoft Payroll Solutions Architect to join our dynamic IT team. As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our PeopleSoft Payroll system and ensuring its alignment with our business objectives.   1. Design and develop PeopleSoft Payroll solutions that align with business objectives and meet the needs of our organization.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical design specifications.
  3. Lead the implementation and integration of PeopleSoft Payroll solutions, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
  4. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the implementation and maintenance of the PeopleSoft Payroll system.
  5. Stay current with industry trends and best practices in PeopleSoft Payroll and recommend improvements or enhancements to the system to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
  6. Develop and maintain system documentation, including technical specifications, process flows, and procedures.
  7. Train and mentor junior team members on PeopleSoft Payroll solutions and best practices.
  8. Work closely with business stakeholders and end-users to gather feedback and continuously improve the PeopleSoft Payroll system.
  9. Ensure the security and integrity of the PeopleSoft Payroll system and its data.
  10. Collaborate with vendors and external partners to stay updated on the latest PeopleSoft Payroll updates and developments.
  11. Provide technical expertise and guidance to the IT team and other departments on PeopleSoft Payroll-related matters.
  12. Participate in project planning and strategy discussions to identify opportunities for leveraging PeopleSoft Payroll to achieve business goals.
  13. Support and maintain the PeopleSoft Payroll system, including performing upgrades, patches, and other maintenance tasks.
  14. Identify and implement process improvements to streamline and optimize PeopleSoft Payroll-related processes.
  15. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including data privacy and security protocols, in all PeopleSoft Payroll-related activities.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience With Peoplesoft Payroll: The Senior It Peoplesoft Payroll Solutions Architect At Westrock Should Have A Strong Background In Implementing And Managing Peoplesoft Payroll Solutions, With A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience.

  • Knowledge Of Hr And Payroll Processes: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Hr And Payroll Processes And How They Are Supported By Peoplesoft Payroll. They Should Also Be Familiar With Current Industry Trends And Best Practices.

  • Technical Expertise: The Role Requires A High Level Of Technical Expertise, Including Proficiency In Peopletools, Peoplecode, Sqr, Sql, And Other Relevant Programming Languages. The Candidate Should Also Have Experience With Integrations And Customization Of Peoplesoft Payroll.

  • Project Management Skills: As A Senior It Solutions Architect, The Candidate Should Have Excellent Project Management Skills And Experience Leading Large-Scale Peoplesoft Payroll Implementations. They Should Be Able To Effectively Manage Timelines, Resources, And Budgets To Deliver Successful Projects.

  • Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: The Senior It Peoplesoft Payroll Solutions Architect Should Have Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Identify And Resolve Complex Technical Issues. They Should Also Be Able To Provide Innovative Solutions To Improve The Efficiency And Effectiveness Of Peoplesoft Payroll Processes.
