
DC Safety Specialist
Assume point for regulatory compliance relating to Food safety, OSHA, environmental, CalARP, Good Organics, FDA, and USDA. Responsible for ensuring all programs and equipment are for safe working conditions and are constantly addressing Team Member safety, compliance and sanitation including food safety. Develop training programs to support the DC. Partner with the Global Safety/Asset Protection team and Global Distribution to ensure all programs, trainings and compliance are being met. Maintain Inventory and distribute needed safety and PPE equipment for facility. Set up DC safety committee and meetings. Establish and maintain all training programs in accordance to facility Illness and injury Prevention Plan (IIPP) and facility powered equipment. Safe Lifting - source and establish training materials. Act as liaison between facility and Global Asset Protection.
Experience with OSHA training programs for PIT equipment
Ability to perform physical requirements of position
Ability to comply with all WFM policies and procedures
Able to work a flexible schedule based on the needs of the facility, including nights, weekends and holidays as required
4 year degree in related field preferred
