  1. Train and mentor new and existing team members in the grocery department.
  2. Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the grocery team.
  3. Ensure that all team members are up-to-date on company policies, procedures, and product knowledge.
  4. Lead by example and set a high standard for customer service and product knowledge.
  5. Monitor and evaluate the performance of team members, providing constructive feedback and coaching as needed.
  6. Collaborate with store management to identify training needs and develop solutions to address them.
  7. Stay informed about current trends and developments in the natural and organic food industry.
  8. Create a positive and inclusive team culture that promotes open communication and continuous learning.
  9. Assist with onboarding and orientation of new team members in the grocery department.
  10. Maintain a safe and clean work environment, following all health and safety guidelines.
  11. Actively contribute to the achievement of departmental and store goals and objectives.
  12. Represent the company in a professional and knowledgeable manner to customers and vendors.
  13. Communicate effectively with team members, management, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
  14. Continuously seek opportunities for personal and professional growth and development.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Knowledge Of Grocery Products: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess In-Depth Knowledge Of Grocery Products And Brands Carried At Whole Foods Market. This Includes Knowledge Of Organic, Natural, And Specialty Products, As Well As An Understanding Of Sourcing And Sustainability Practices.

  • Excellent Communication And Training Skills: As A Team Trainer, The Candidate Must Have Exceptional Communication And Training Skills To Effectively Teach And Coach Team Members On Product Knowledge, Customer Service, And Operational Procedures.

  • Leadership And Team Management Experience: The Candidate Should Have Prior Experience In A Leadership Role, Preferably In A Grocery Department, And Be Able To Effectively Manage And Motivate A Team To Achieve Sales Goals And Maintain High Standards Of Customer Service.

  • Strong Customer Service Orientation: Whole Foods Market Is Known For Its Exceptional Customer Service, And The Team Trainer Must Embody This Value And Be Able To Instill It In Team Members Through Training And Leading By Example.
