- Stocking shelves and maintaining inventory levels for all grocery products
- Ensuring all products are properly labeled and priced
- Rotating and organizing products to maintain freshness and quality
- Unloading and organizing deliveries from vendors
- Checking for product expiration dates and removing expired items from shelves
- Collaborating with team members to create attractive and visually appealing displays
- Assisting customers with finding products and providing product information
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, including backroom and storage areas
- Following proper food safety and handling procedures to ensure product quality and safety
- Communicating any inventory or stocking issues to management promptly
- Participating in training and continuing education opportunities to expand knowledge of products and store policies
- Adhering to company policies and procedures, including but not limited to dress code, attendance, and punctuality.
Knowledge Of Grocery Products: A Successful Overnight Grocery Team Member At Whole Foods Market Should Have Extensive Knowledge Of Grocery Products, Including Different Brands, Types, And Nutritional Information.
Physical Stamina: This Role Often Requires Lifting And Carrying Heavy Items, Such As Cases Of Beverages Or Bags Of Produce, So Physical Stamina Is Necessary To Perform The Tasks Efficiently.
Attention To Detail: Overnight Grocery Team Members Must Be Detail-Oriented And Able To Accurately Organize And Stock Products On Shelves And In Storage Areas To Maintain A Well-Stocked And Visually Appealing Store.
