  1. Develop and maintain relationships with local and regional produce suppliers to ensure a consistent supply of high-quality products.
  2. Monitor market trends and demand to make informed purchasing decisions.
  3. Negotiate pricing and discounts with suppliers to obtain the best possible deals for the company.
  4. Create and maintain accurate inventory records and manage replenishment orders to ensure adequate stock levels at all times.
  5. Collaborate with store managers and other teams to plan and execute promotions, seasonal displays, and other strategies to increase sales and customer satisfaction.
  6. Conduct regular store visits to assess product quality, identify any issues, and make necessary adjustments to orders.
  7. Maintain a deep understanding of the company's sustainability and ethical standards, and actively seek out suppliers who align with these values.
  8. Continuously analyze sales data and adjust ordering strategies as needed to optimize product selection and minimize waste.
  9. Stay up-to-date on industry trends, new products, and emerging technologies to constantly improve processes and stay ahead of the competition.
  10. Communicate effectively with suppliers, store teams, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
  11. Collaborate with the finance team to manage budgets and track expenses related to produce purchasing.
  12. Train and mentor new team members on ordering processes, company standards, and best practices.
  13. Actively participate in company-wide initiatives and contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment.
  14. Continuously evaluate and improve processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs while maintaining high-quality standards.
  15. Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines and ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
