Compliance Specialist

The Compliance Specialist is responsible for assisting in implementing an effective, proactive compliance program to assure that the organization maintains the required level of compliance set forth by its regulatory agencies with a focus on data management. Assures Compliance with the various Federal and State laws and regulations governing the conduct of the Bank's affairs while seeking to prevent any penalties, liabilities and any other punitive actions against the bank, its Directors or employees. Builds Compliance Risk Assessments. Develops and manages Risk Assessments Project Plan. Maintain Risk Assessment Methodology and Policy documents. Responsible for ensuring risk assessment methodology remains compatible with ERM system (GRC Platform). Tracks system defects and enhancement requests for ERM system. Maintains strong knowledge of ERM system set up and use. Assist with regulatory exam preparation as needed.
