Cloudera Hadoop Administrator

Wipro is looking for an experienced, motivated, and analytical Cloudera Hadoop Administrator to join our team. This position requires a highly technical individual with a strong background in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Hadoop clusters. You will be responsible for the administration and configuration of the Hadoop environment, ensuring that the environment is secure, performing optimally, and meeting the business needs of the organization.In this role, you must have a deep understanding of Hadoop concepts, architecture, and administration. You should have experience managing large-scale clusters and working with distributed computing systems. Additionally, you should be a self-starter who is comfortable troubleshooting and resolving complex issues in a timely manner.The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience, with at least 5 years of experience in a Hadoop administration role. Knowledge of Linux and related scripting languages is a must. Knowledge of other distributed computing technologies such as Apache Spark and Apache HBase is highly beneficial. Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities:

1. Install, configure, and maintain Hadoop clusters in a secure and optimized environment.
2. Monitor and troubleshoot clusters and distributed computing systems.
3. Develop scripts and automation tools to improve system performance.
4. Develop and maintain system standards and procedures.
5. Manage data access, security, and integrity of the Hadoop environment.
6. Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
7. Research, evaluate, and recommend new technologies and solutions.
8. Provide technical guidance and support to other team members.
9. Participate in design and architecture reviews.
10. Assist with development, testing, and deployment of applications.
