Materials Manager

As the Materials Manager at World Wide Technology, you will provide leadership and direction to the Materials team. You will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing all materials processes to ensure customer satisfaction and timely order fulfillment. You will be required to analyze, evaluate, and recommend improvements to the materials management program. The successful candidate for this role will possess excellent problem-solving skills, financial acumen, and be an excellent communicator. You must have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field, coupled with 5+ years of experience in materials management. Previous supervisory experience and knowledge of ERP systems are also required. Responsibilities: • Oversee and direct all aspects of Materials processes, including planning and organizing • Analyze, evaluate, and recommend improvements to Materials management program • Ensure customer satisfaction through timely order fulfillment • Develop and implement strategies to attain business objectives • Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of materials • Oversee purchasing and vendor management processes • Manage the Materials team and ensure staff are trained and properly utilized • Monitor performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives • Maintain accurate records of materials and inventory • Develop and maintain productive relationships with suppliers • Prepare and present reports on Materials performance to upper management • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
