Identify, analyze, resolve, and support system-level on-premise and cloud user issues. Evaluate and recommend products and services that best fit researchers/engineers/developers’ needs. Gather requirements, create, maintain and support IT infrastructure architecture, automate and document architecture and processes. AWS, Azure and GovCloud: Architect, manage and maintain on-prem and Cloud-based environment for research projects and infrastructure, many of which require AI workloads, GPU computing and HPC of various flavors. Linux: Servers, desktops, laptops, VM and cloud support for researchers. Storage: own all aspects of managing on-prem (NetApp, Dell, Hitachi SAN & NAS) and cloud (AWS & Azure) enterprise storage. License Server support: FlexNet/FlexLm and other. Maintain on-prem and remote license server setup for cloud HPC. Cloud-based HPC (e.g. Rescale): Support R&D researcher requirements for AI GPU/machine learning and simulation.
