- Monitor various news sources and social media platforms to identify breaking news and potential story ideas.
- Conduct interviews with relevant sources and experts to gather information and insights.
- Write engaging and accurate news articles, incorporating multimedia elements such as photos and videos.
- Utilize strong news judgement to determine which stories are most relevant and interesting for our audience.
- Ensure all content produced adheres to ethical and journalistic standards.
- Collaborate with other team members, including editors and producers, to develop and execute story ideas.
- Maintain a network of contacts and sources in the EMEA region to stay informed and generate story leads.

Strong Knowledge Of Emea Region And Current Events: A Successful Emea Correspondent At Yahoo! Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Political, Economic, And Cultural Landscape Of The Emea Region, As Well As A Strong Grasp Of Current Events And Trends.
Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills: Communication Is Key In This Role, As The Emea Correspondent Will Be Responsible For Reporting On News And Events From The Region To A Global Audience. They Should Have A Strong Command Of The English Language And Be Able To Deliver Clear, Concise And Engaging Content.
Experience In Journalism Or News Reporting: Candidates Should Have A Background In Journalism Or News Reporting, With Experience In Researching, Fact-Checking, And Writing News Stories. This Will Ensure They Are Able To Deliver Accurate And Timely Coverage Of Events In The Emea Region.
Ability To Work Under Tight Deadlines: News Reporting Can Be Fast-Paced And Unpredictable, So The Emea Correspondent Should Be Able To Work Well Under Pressure And Deliver High-Quality Content Within Tight Deadlines.
