  1. Develop and implement a global compensation strategy that aligns with Yahoo's overall mission and values.
  2. Stay updated on market trends and best practices in compensation to ensure Yahoo remains competitive in attracting and retaining top talent.
  3. Partner with HR and other key stakeholders to develop and implement effective compensation programs and policies.
  4. Conduct regular reviews and analysis of existing compensation programs to ensure fairness and competitiveness.
  5. Lead the design and implementation of new compensation initiatives, such as incentive and recognition programs.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency and alignment of compensation practices across different regions.
  7. Manage the budget for global compensation and make recommendations for adjustments as needed.
  8. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to compensation.
  9. Communicate and educate employees on the company's compensation philosophy and programs.
  10. Provide guidance and support to HR and management on compensation-related matters.
  11. Participate in industry surveys and benchmarking to gather insights and inform decision-making.
  12. Analyze compensation data and provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
  13. Monitor and analyze trends in compensation and make adjustments as needed to maintain competitiveness.
  14. Lead and manage a team responsible for global compensation programs and initiatives.
  15. Foster a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of compensation.

  • Extensive Global Compensation Experience: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Possess At Least 10 Years Of Experience In Developing And Implementing Global Compensation Strategies, Preferably In A Multinational Corporation.

  • Strong Analytical Skills: Yahoo! Is A Data-Driven Company, And The Vp Of Global Compensation Should Have Strong Analytical Skills To Gather And Interpret Data To Make Strategic Decisions Related To Compensation.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Compensation Trends: The Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Current Compensation Trends, Both Globally And In The Technology Industry, To Ensure Yahoo! Remains Competitive In Attracting And Retaining Top Talent.

  • Demonstrated Leadership Skills: As A Vp, This Individual Will Be Responsible For Leading And Managing A Team Of Compensation Professionals. Therefore, They Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing And Developing A High-Performing Team.

  • Strategic Thinker: The Vp Of Global Compensation Should Be A Strategic Thinker With The Ability To Anticipate And Plan For Future Compensation Needs As Yahoo! Continues To Grow And Evolve.
