Ambulatory Pharmacy Technician

The Ambulatory Pharmacy Technician at Yale New Haven Health System is an exciting opportunity for a team player who is looking to make a real difference in the lives of our patients. The successful candidate will maintain accurate records and provide support for clinical pharmacy services. Required Qualifications for this role include:• High School Diploma or GED equivalent• Completion of a pharmacy technician program or equivalent experience • Current Connecticut State registration as a pharmacy technician • Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacy calculations • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English • Proficiency with electronic medical records and pharmacy information systems • Demonstrated understanding of infection control measures, including correct glove usage and hand hygiene • Ability to work with minimal supervision • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously • Demonstrated commitment to customer service • Ability to work with a variety of personalities and respect confidentiality
