  1. Oversee and lead the dental department, ensuring that it operates efficiently and effectively to provide exceptional healthcare services to our community.
  2. Develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives to improve and expand our dental services, in alignment with the overall goals and mission of the organization.
  3. Manage and mentor a team of dental professionals, including dentists, hygienists, and support staff, to foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  4. Monitor and evaluate the performance of the dental department, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes to ensure the highest quality of care for our patients.
  5. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards in the provision of dental services.
  6. Collaborate with other department heads and stakeholders to develop and implement interdisciplinary programs and initiatives to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  7. Establish and maintain relationships with key partners, such as dental schools and community organizations, to enhance our dental services and reach a wider population.
  8. Stay updated on industry developments, trends, and best practices in dentistry, and use this knowledge to drive innovation and continuous improvement in our dental department.
  9. Develop and manage the dental department's budget, allocating resources effectively to achieve desired outcomes and financial targets.
  10. Serve as a role model and advocate for our organization's values and culture, promoting a patient-centered approach and a commitment to excellence in all aspects of dental care.

Job Qualifications
  • Doctor Of Dental Medicine (Dmd) Or Doctor Of Dental Surgery (Dds) Degree From An Accredited Dental School.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience Practicing Dentistry, With At Least 3 Years In A Leadership Or Managerial Role.

  • Current And Active Licensure To Practice Dentistry In The State Of Connecticut.

  • Advanced Training Or Certification In A Specialized Area Of Dentistry, Such As Oral Surgery, Periodontics, Or Prosthodontics.

  • Strong Leadership And Communication Skills, With Experience Managing Teams And Collaborating With Other Healthcare Professionals.
