Director of Accounting

Yale New Haven Health System is seeking an experienced accounting professional to serve as the Director of Accounting. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the organization's financial operations, including preparing financial statements, analyzing financial data, and maintaining an accurate financial system. We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with strong leadership and communication skills.Qualified candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience. An advanced degree, such as a Master's in Business Administration or CPA certification, is preferred. At least seven to ten years of progressive accounting experience in a healthcare environment is required, with a minimum of three years' experience in a supervisory role.
