- Perform nuclear medicine procedures in accordance with established protocols and safety standards.
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients as directed by a physician.
- Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment, ensuring proper functioning and calibration.
- Monitor patient vital signs and ensure their comfort and safety during procedures.
- Evaluate images for quality and accuracy, making adjustments as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families to explain procedures, answer questions, and address any concerns.
- Follow infection control and safety procedures to protect patients and staff.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records and documentation.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and provide input on treatment plans.
- Stay current on advancements and changes in nuclear medicine technology through ongoing education and training.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and departmental processes.

Bachelor's Degree In Nuclear Medicine Technology Or Related Field From An Accredited Program.
Certification From The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt) Or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (Nmtcb).
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As A Nuclear Medical Technologist.
Proficiency In Operating And Maintaining Nuclear Medicine Equipment And Software.
Strong Understanding Of Radiation Safety Protocols And Regulations.
