Job Description

We at Yale New Haven Health System are looking for a passionate and motivated RN-Wound Clinician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a high degree of clinical expertise in advanced wound care and a commitment to excellence in patient care. We are seeking an individual who is an excellent communicator and highly organized with a strong commitment to providing outstanding clinical care.The successful candidate should have an active RN license in the State of Connecticut and a minimum of two years’ experience in wound care, preferably in an acute care setting. We also require the candidate to have a BSN degree and a current certification in wound care. Knowledge of federal and state regulations, as well as experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, is preferred. The RN-Wound Clinician will be responsible for evaluating patients for wound care needs and developing comprehensive wound care plans. This individual will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best care for our patients. The successful candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient satisfaction and will strive to provide exceptional care.

Job Qualifications
  • Current Registered Nurse (Rn) Licensure In The State Of Connecticut

  • Bsn Or Equivalent Degree From An Accredited College Or University

  • At Least Years Of Clinical Nursing Experience (Preferably In Wound Care/Ostomy/Continence Nursing)

  • Basic Computer Literacy And Knowledge Of Electronic Medical Records (Emr) Systems

  • Ability To Work Independently With Minimal Supervision

  • Excellent Communication And Organizational Skills
