- Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and their families during end-of-life care.

Master's Degree In Social Work: A Candidate For This Position Must Possess A Master's Degree In Social Work From An Accredited University Or College.
Certification In Palliative Care: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Certification In Palliative Care, Demonstrating Their Knowledge And Expertise In This Specialized Field.
Experience In Hospice Or Palliative Care: Previous Experience Working In Hospice Or Palliative Care Settings, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting, Is Highly Desirable For This Role.
Strong Communication And Counseling Skills: A Social Worker In Palliative Care Must Possess Excellent Communication And Counseling Skills To Effectively Support Patients And Their Families During This Difficult Time.
Knowledge Of Healthcare Systems And Resources: A Candidate For This Position Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Healthcare Systems And Resources, Including Insurance Coverage, Medical Equipment, And Community Support Services, To Assist Patients In Navigating Their Care.
