Surgical Technician

Yale New Haven Health System is looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Surgical Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance to surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other medical personnel during surgical operations. We are seeking an individual with an understanding of surgical equipment and strong communication skills who is passionate about providing exceptional patient care.The ideal candidate for this position will have a minimum of one year of experience in a related field, such as a surgical technician or scrub tech, and must be certified as a Surgical Technician from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA). They must also have a current BLS certification and be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of relevant clinical and safety protocols. We are looking for an individual who is organized and focused, with the ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
