  1. Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures in a safe and efficient manner according to established protocols and procedures.
  2. Accurately assess and evaluate patient information and clinical history to ensure appropriate imaging is performed.
  3. Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, troubleshoot any technical issues, and report any malfunctions.
  4. Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
  5. Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare team members regarding procedures and results.
  6. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including images and findings.
  7. Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  8. Participate in continuing education and training to stay current with advancements in ultrasound technology and techniques.
  9. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  10. Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and participate in departmental meetings and discussions.
  11. Demonstrate a commitment to patient satisfaction and provide exceptional customer service.
  12. Maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  13. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including those related to patient care, safety, and ethical standards.
  14. Act as a mentor to new and less experienced sonographers, providing guidance and support as needed.
  15. Stay updated on the latest industry developments and trends, and make recommendations for process improvements.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Healthcare System.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Diagnostic Medical Sonography Or A Related Field.

  • Certification From The American Registry For Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Ardms) Or The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt).

  • Proficiency In Performing A Wide Range Of Ultrasound Scans, Including Abdominal, Obstetric, And Vascular.

  • Strong Communication Skills And Ability To Work Effectively With A Diverse Team Of Healthcare Professionals.
