Yale Athletics is looking for an experienced Mental Health Provider to join our team and provide comprehensive services to our student-athletes. The ideal candidate should be passionate about supporting the physical and mental health of student-athletes, with a true understanding of the unique challenges that varsity athletes face. If you are an empathetic, organized, and highly motivated professional, we want to hear from you.The Mental Health Provider will join a team of dedicated counselors and sports psychologists to provide a range of clinical and therapeutic services. You must be comfortable working with athletes of all backgrounds and levels of experience, as well as have knowledge and experience in mental health, sport psychology, and/or performance enhancement.Required Qualifications:- A Master’s Degree in Mental Health, Psychology, or a related field and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a counseling or mental health role- Advanced knowledge in sport psychology, mental health, and performance enhancement- Ability to assess, diagnose and treat mental health issues in athletes- Knowledge of NCAA and Ivy League regulations- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team- Empathy, compassion, and understanding of the unique challenges of student-athletesIf you have the necessary qualifications and are passionate about providing mental health services to student-athletes, we encourage you to apply today.
