
Music Strategy Manager, Music Marketing
As a Music Strategy Manager, your responsibilities will be to uncover and understand the issues facing the global music industry and YouTube's music users and then work with cross-functional teams to find solutions and transform our business. Help Google understand consumers and artists’ needs and challenges and turn complex problems into compelling insights we can share internally and externally (e.g. craft analysis, build dashboards, data visualization, and insight reports). Conceptualize and structure research to build impactful proof points to better communicate YouTube’s value to the industry. Use your analytical prowess and business acumen to strengthen the value proposition of our priority products. Help the team prioritize and support product development to make YouTube a better platform for artists and their teams. Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders from the music team (e.g. product, engineering, and partnership) in the US and across the globe.
3 years of consulting/business analyst experience in fields related to music and tech.
Experience with/management of large and complex data sets.
Experience in Technology and Media practice, with interest in traditional and digital media landscape and trends
Deep interest in the online music industry, digital media, and technology.
