- Collaborate with the global sourcing team to identify and evaluate potential suppliers and negotiate favorable terms and conditions.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify cost savings opportunities and make recommendations for sourcing strategies.
- Assist with the development and implementation of sourcing strategies to support 3M's business objectives.
- Review and analyze supplier proposals, contracts, and performance data to ensure compliance with company standards and objectives.
- Compile and maintain supplier and product databases, including pricing, lead times, and other relevant information.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods and services.
- Participate in supplier meetings and visits to build relationships and gain a deeper understanding of their capabilities and processes.
- Monitor and report on key performance metrics to track savings, supplier performance, and market trends.
