Quality Engineer

You will be responsible for advising, consulting, and troubleshooting the quality of products, processes, and systems at the New Ulm Plant in support of the Personal Safety Division (PSD) manufacturing operations. Driving existing product quality enhancement through using of continuous improvement methods and tools, to include: Six Sigma, Product and Process Understanding (PPU), Design of Experiments (DOE), Customer Quality Index (CQI) and Quality at the Source. Supporting and interacting with customers through complaint investigations, resolution, and trending. Ensuring that commercialized product design intent and product integrity are both maintained as the result of changes in materials, processes, methods, and specifications Supporting design changes inspired by quality improvement, source of supply changes, or cost reduction efforts. Trouble shooting, investigating, and analyzing for non-conforming product testing and disposition. Validating product claims through product testing and lab oversight.
