Job Description

The Test Automation Engineer role will use his/her software skills along with in depth knowledge of Web Development, Visual Studio, SQL Server, Python, JavaScript, and C# to test world-class, industry-leading solutions for the healthcare industry. Test software solutions by studying systems workflows, data usage, and work processes; investigates problem areas; follows Agile framework. Work with software engineering teams to test functional workflow of applications. Understand automation technology. Develop test automation scripts and demonstrate progress from sprint to sprint. Test the product in controlled test environments. Set up, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain test systems. Support client issues directly or indirectly via 3M HIS Client Support team.

Job Qualifications

  • Three (3) years of combined experience creating test automation in a commercial client and/or server applications

  • Solid understanding of software automation principles and tools

  • Prior experience using Python/JavaScript automation frameworks

  • Familiarity with continuous integration

  • Experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server and Git
