- Develop and implement transfer pricing policies and strategies in accordance with global tax regulations and 3M's business objectives.
- Conduct thorough analysis of intercompany transactions and provide recommendations for transfer pricing adjustments.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely transfer pricing documentation and reports.
- Monitor and stay updated on changes in transfer pricing regulations and proactively assess their impact on 3M's transfer pricing policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with external tax advisors and authorities to resolve transfer pricing issues and audits.
- Participate in tax planning initiatives to optimize 3M's tax position and minimize tax risks.
- Review and approve transfer pricing calculations and documentation for various business transactions.
- Maintain accurate transfer pricing records and ensure compliance with recordkeeping requirements.
- Train and educate internal stakeholders on transfer pricing principles and best practices.
- Provide support and guidance to 3M's financial and accounting teams on transfer pricing matters.
- Represent 3M in transfer pricing discussions with tax authorities and other external parties.
- Continuously assess and improve transfer pricing processes and systems to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- Prepare and present transfer pricing reports and analysis to senior management.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to transfer pricing and share knowledge with the team.
- Adhere to ethical and professional standards of conduct while carrying out transfer pricing responsibilities.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or A Related Field
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Transfer Pricing, Preferably In A Multinational Company Or A Big 4 Accounting Firm
In-Depth Understanding Of International Tax Laws And Regulations, Including Transfer Pricing Guidelines From Oecd And Local Tax Authorities
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Interpret Financial Data And Identify Potential Transfer Pricing Risks
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate And Build Relationships With Cross-Functional Teams And External Stakeholders.
