Job Description

  • Coordinate and manage the daily logistics operations, including transportation, inventory management, and distribution, to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products to stores
  • Monitor and track inventory levels at each distribution center and store location, and communicate any discrepancies or issues to the appropriate teams
  • Collaborate with vendors, carriers, and internal teams to schedule and coordinate inbound and outbound shipments
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all logistics activities, including receipts, shipments, and inventory levels
  • Conduct regular audits of warehouse and store inventory to ensure accuracy and identify any potential issues
  • Work closely with the procurement team to forecast demand and ensure adequate inventory levels at all times
  • Identify and implement process improvements to streamline logistics operations and reduce costs
  • Ensure compliance with all transportation and safety regulations, and maintain all necessary permits and licenses
  • Train and oversee the work of logistics staff, including warehouse associates and delivery drivers, to ensure they are following company policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including store operations, purchasing, and finance, to resolve any logistics-related issues and improve overall supply chain efficiency.

Job Qualifications
  • Experience In Logistics And Supply Chain Management: A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Logistics And Supply Chain Management Is Required For This Position. This Should Include Experience In Coordinating Shipments, Managing Inventory, And Working With Third-Party Logistics Providers.

  • Strong Organizational And Time-Management Skills: As A Logistics Coordinator, You Will Be Responsible For Coordinating Multiple Shipments And Ensuring They Are Delivered On Time. Strong Organizational And Time-Management Skills Are Essential To Ensure Smooth And Efficient Operations.

  • Knowledge Of Transportation Regulations And Procedures: A Thorough Understanding Of Transportation Regulations And Procedures Is Necessary To Ensure Compliance And Avoid Delays Or Penalties. This Includes Knowledge Of Dot Regulations, Customs Requirements, And Safety Protocols.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Logistics Coordinator, You Will Be Working With A Variety Of Stakeholders, Including Suppliers, Carriers, And Internal Teams. Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential To Effectively Coordinate And Communicate With All Parties Involved.

  • Proficiency In Logistics Software And Systems: Experience With Logistics Software And Systems, Such As Warehouse Management Systems And Transportation Management Systems, Is Important For This Role. The Ability To Quickly Learn And Effectively Use New Software Is Also Highly Valued.
