  1. Coordinate and oversee the movement of goods from suppliers to stores.
  2. Monitor and track inventory levels to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
  3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  4. Analyze and optimize transportation routes and methods to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
  5. Ensure all shipping and receiving documentation is accurate and complete.
  6. Collaborate with other departments, including purchasing and sales, to plan and forecast inventory needs.
  7. Negotiate pricing and terms with carriers to secure the best rates for shipping.
  8. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or delays in the supply chain.
  9. Keep abreast of industry trends and changes in logistics regulations and adapt processes accordingly.
  10. Maintain accurate records and generate reports on logistics activities.
  11. Train and supervise logistics team members to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
  12. Proactively identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions.
  13. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all logistics operations.

  • Experience In Logistics And Supply Chain Management: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Logistics And Supply Chain Processes, Including Transportation, Inventory Management, And Warehousing.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: A Logistics Coordinator Must Be Able To Analyze Data, Identify Potential Issues, And Develop Solutions To Improve Efficiency And Reduce Costs.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: This Role Requires Regular Communication With Internal Teams, Vendors, And Carriers, So Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential.

  • Attention To Detail And Organization: The Ability To Pay Attention To Detail And Stay Organized Is Crucial In Coordinating And Tracking Shipments, Managing Inventory Levels, And Ensuring Timely Deliveries.
