Yard Jockey
Operate vehicles in a safe manner, by following all safety rules and demonstrating professional command of the equipment. Utilize powered equipment, pick and put away product efficiently and accurately, as assigned by supervisor. Inspect equipment and verify/report damage or concerns Some familiarity with computers with the ability to run and print basic reports Identify and communicate exceptions to the leadership team. Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs). Accurately record production by task and complete any necessary paperwork.
Experience operating tractor trailers
Able to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures
At least 3 months experience operating a yard truck and/or spotting trailers in a fast-paced environment
6 months previous experience operating forklifts
