Cost and Schedule Engineer

Proven experience in Cost and Schedule control duties. Support Program Controls Supervisor with Earned Value. Manage and quantifying cost and schedule risks for school projects. Runs reports, analyzes data, and ensures that data is accurately posted in the District’s cost and schedule system. Interfaces with District Contract Specialists to ensure correct SACS cost coding and payment request processing of Contractor and Vendor invoices. Assists in the financial closeout of projects and contracts. Prepares journal vouchers to revise General Ledger transactions. Applies financial terminology, measures, financial data analysis concepts and principles in assignments. Recognizes processes/project actions that may lead to project financial impact. Develops and maintains WBS for small projects. Assists in the use of drawings and specifications in the establishment of project baseline data. Begins basic analysis of cost and schedule variances.
