Environmental Specialist
Provide company-wide environmental and regulatory consulting services related to hazardous waste, hazardous materials management and emergency response. Facilitate employee and contractor hazardous waste training. Conduct inspections and audits at field locations to identify compliance deficiencies and recommend appropriate corrective or preventative action plans. Audit hazardous waste transporters, TSDFs and approved laboratories. Maintain shipping and training documentation for all field locations. Facilitate community of practice meetings with field EHS and operations.
Understanding of Title 22 California Code of Regulations and Title 40 California Code of Federal Regulations
Basic understanding of Land use, Kern County Ordinance, BLM and DOGGR permitting
Understanding of Water Board waste discharge requirements
3+ years of related experience
