Job Description

We are on the hunt for a talented Senior Staff Mechanical Engineer to join the AeroVironment team. Additionally, the ideal candidate should demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively. If you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for pushing the boundaries of aerospace technology, this is the job for you.

Responsibilities:

  1. Design, develop, and test mechanical components and systems for aerospace products.
  2. Develop product specifications and performance requirements.
  3. Utilize CAD/CAE/PLM tools to create innovative solutions.
  4. Troubleshoot mechanical issues and develop solutions.
  5. Analyze and interpret customer requirements.
  6. Collaborate with other engineers and departments to ensure product quality.
  7. Develop and document test procedures for systems and components.
  8. Prepare technical documentation for engineering projects.
  9. Monitor project progress and provide updates.
  10. Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
