Designer - Women's Sweaters

American Eagle Outfitters is seeking an innovative and creative Designer to join our Women's Sweater Design Team! The Designer will be responsible for developing trend-right designs for our Women's Sweater line, while working collaboratively with cross-functional teams including Merchandising, Product Development, and Sourcing. We are looking for an individual who can bring fresh ideas to the table, and has a passion for the American Eagle Outfitters customer and brand.The ideal candidate should have an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field, and a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in apparel design in a fast-paced environment. The Designer must have strong technical skills in Illustrator and Photoshop, be an excellent communicator, and have a keen eye for detail. A solid understanding of the apparel industry, global trends and customer needs is essential.
