Merchandise Processor

American Eagle Outfitters is looking for a dynamic, organized, and detail-oriented Merchandise Processor to join our team. This role is responsible for providing support in the processing of merchandise in our retail stores. With the customer experience being our top priority, our ideal candidate will be capable of managing the merchandise flow process from the backroom to the sales floor while adhering to company policies and procedures.We are seeking a self-motivated individual with a passion for fashion and a commitment to excellence. To be successful in this role, you should have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, as well as a meticulous attention to detail. Previous experience in a retail environment and a familiarity with American Eagle Outfitters merchandise is preferred. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure the efficient processing of merchandise in our stores.

Responsibilities:

1. Receive and process merchandise shipments in accordance with company procedures.
2. Ensure all merchandise is organized and stored in an appropriate manner in the backroom.
3. Place new items on the sales floor in a timely and efficient manner.
4. Follow all safety and security guidelines when handling merchandise.
5. Tag and label merchandise according to company standards.
6. Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock levels are sufficient.
7. Collaborate with store managers to maintain an organized backroom and sales floor.
8. Monitor stock levels and ensure stock rotation is done on a regular basis.
9. Assist with customer service requests and ensure excellent customer experience.
10. Assist with store operations and other related tasks as assigned.
