Job Description

Welcome aboard the Amtrak Auto Train! We are currently seeking enthusiastic and customer-oriented individuals to join our team as Auto Train Attendants. As an Auto Train Attendant, you will play a vital role in providing a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable journey for our passengers and their vehicles. If you have a passion for delivering exceptional service and the drive to go above and beyond for our guests, we want to hear from you!   1. Greet and welcome passengers and their vehicles aboard the Amtrak Auto Train.
  2. Ensure the safety and well-being of passengers and their vehicles during the journey.
  3. Provide excellent customer service to all passengers, addressing their needs and concerns.
  4. Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking the train, as well as loading and unloading their vehicles.
  5. Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the train cars and vehicle loading areas.
  6. Familiarize passengers with the train's amenities, services, and procedures.
  7. Respond to any emergencies or incidents that may occur during the journey.
  8. Handle ticket sales, reservations, and other administrative tasks.
  9. Collaborate with other train crew members to ensure a smooth and efficient journey.
  10. Continuously strive to exceed customer expectations and create a positive experience for all passengers.
  11. Stay updated on train schedules, routes, and any changes or disruptions.
  12. Adhere to all safety and security protocols and regulations.
  13. Remain knowledgeable about local destinations and provide recommendations and information to passengers.
  14. Uphold the company's standards and values in all interactions with passengers and team members.
  15. Attend training and development sessions to enhance job skills and knowledge.
