Job Description

Work collaboratively with business and functional leaders to motivate and drive change throughout the organization using Lean and continuous improvement teams and projects. Be a motivator, change agent, and a continuous improvement tool expert and technique practitioner who can successfully lead cross-functional continuous improvement projects to completion and deliver measurable cost savings, cost avoidance, and revenue increases in line with stated goals. Assess project concepts and analyze risks and costs to make recommendations. Plan, prioritize, direct, and support business line or functional project schedules, resource plans, and budgets. Provide consultation on the use of Lean and Six Sigma techniques to improve process performance, service, and product quality. Grow corporate continuous improvement capabilities within the company through coaching, mentoring, and supporting the creation of a Continuous Improvement community of practice.

Job Qualifications
  • 9 years of relevant experience in process improvemet, project management, or equivalent combination of education and/or training

  • Organizational Change Management or Agile certifications

  • Knowledge and experience of freight or passenger railroad operations

  • Experience writing solution requirements
